Anti-Smoking Campaign

Description

The main goal for this campaign was to influence people’s behavior and thoughts about smoking on school campuses. The overall design is a cigarette in the shape of a battery, which represents a low life or low energy for the body. This add symbolizes how smoking drains your life, and ultimately causes your body to run out of power.

Infograph

Description

This is an infographic designed for a water awareness campaign. This piece informs people of the animal waste that is polluting our water systems. The informational piece demonstrates the equivalence of manure compared to the weight of a Toyota Prius, which is pretty eye opening alone. My objective for this piece is to persuade and inform people about their drinking water, and ultimately change their perspectives on the issue.

Apparel Designs

Description

These clothing articles were designed and created for a Chico State sorority called Alpha Gamma Delta. The basis of these two pieces were created for a 60’s themed dance event. The T-shirt design represents the powerful and laid back women of the sorority while still keeping true to the theme of the event. The black tote bag design was also created in mind of the 60’s. The trio design represents peace, love, and the sisters of AGD.

Tahoe Logo

Description

The concept of this design was to create a logo that represented a luxurious transportation system for Lake Tahoe. The light and dark blue color palette signifies a soothing and relaxing vibe which is how one should feel while aboard the King Blue. The typeface that I used is called Brush Script Std Medium, and I chose it because it embodied the brush strokes which one would paint on the side of a boat. I wanted to create a sleek design that would ultimately represent the speed and elegance of the boat on the water.

Toy Store Logo

Description

This project was designed for a Toy Store called Let’s Play. This Boutique sells fun and exciting toys and is targeted for children of all ages. My objective was to create a logo that embodied the essence of play time. I felt that the grasshopper fit this image perfectly because they are bright in color and are youthful, in that they hop from one place to the next. This whimsical and endearing creature will ultimately attract children and buyers to Let’s Play Toy Store.

Book Cover

Description

My main objective for this design was to create a simple book cover for a novel called Elsewhere. I wanted the design to correlate with the theme of the book which is life after death. The binoculars represent an ulterior view of life, and are portrayed from a birds eye view of New York City. I felt that by keeping the color pallet simple, the design would be more powerful and compelling to the reader.
